Is Dental Implant surgery complicated?

This is minor surgery, so it is not complicated normally: it varies depending on the number of implants involved.

Dental implants are embedded under local anaesthesia, so you will feel no pain or discomfort at the site. In addition, we use a minimally invasive technique that often avoids the need to open the gum.

When the implants are placed following a preliminary study, you need to give them time to settle into the jawbone and wait for the gums to heal. The healing period is different for each patient: sometimes it is a few weeks, while in other cases it requires 2 or 3 months.

Not at all. Dental implants are attached to the jawbone, so they work just like normal teeth when we eat or speak. You will not notice any difference between your natural teeth and the artificial ones.

No. You can use temporary crowns or bridges starting the same day we place the implants so you are not missing those teeth.

Dental implants need the same care as the rest of your teeth: proper daily oral hygiene and a check up at least once a year with your dentist.

Visually, the difference is imperceptible. Dental implants look and feel like natural teeth.

If the implant is positioned correctly, the recommended check ups are performed and optimal oral health is maintained, its durability is even greater than that of a natural tooth.
