In this sense, Marbella Dental Arts clinic features CEREC technology, with which we are able to perform a ceramic restoration (crown or veneer) in a single session instantly, unlike the traditional method, where the patient needs several sessions.

How does CEREC work?

It is very simple to use:

The CEREC camera creates a three-dimensional digital mould of the tooth to be replaced directly from the patient’s mouth, avoiding the use of traditional mould, which is not comfortable for many patients.
After that restoration starts with a compact block of the material selected with CEREC’s milling unit, which shapes the piece in a matter of minutes. This is how we can place the tooth permanently in a single session. Unlike the traditional system, our system only requires the patient to attend the clinic once.
